In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including server hardware provisioning, network equipment deployment, and basic troubleshooting. Key Skills and Requirements ( bolded text indicates highlighted skills) Technical Skills: Experience with data center operations (DC knowledge) Proficiency with Linux (Linux skills) Familiarity with Windows Server and Unix a plus Solid understanding of networking concepts (Networking) Knowledge of hardware components like GPUs and CPUs (Knowledge about GPU/CPU) Scripting experience (Linux & scripting) Hands-on experience: Racking, cabling, configuring, and provisioning servers (Rack, Build, cable, configure, and provision Intel and AMD Servers) Deploying Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment (Rac, Cable, and Deploy Cisco layer 2 networking equipment) Troubleshooting and quality assurance of server hardware Desired Skills: Advanced cabling knowledge beyond basic routing (Cabling knowledge beyond dressing or running cabling) Experience with RAID configurations Web server and database installation experience Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment Enthusiasm for continuous learning Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Security, or a related field (strongly preferred) Additional Information Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship Experience with Gitlab ticketing systems a plus Experience with asset management a plus Keywords: North Carolina Texas Need Lab Administrator [email protected] |
