This role is open to fully remote but the hiring manager is looking for candidates on either EST or CST time zones. This hiring manager is looking for a senior resource who has experience implementing Workday at several companies in the past who can bring more well-rounded knowledge/ experience of how to solve various implementation challenges to be able to assess if there are better/more efficient ways to make changes to implementation processes. Must Have: Multiple certifications in Workday Any WD certs will do, but we need multiple certifications Extensive experience with Workday implementations, changes, upgrades HM wants to see this experience at multiple companies Main Responsibilities: Implementing changes in Workday Providing recommendations Assess efficiencies Review the status of the implementations Provide cost estimates Guide technical strategy JD: Job Responsibilities: Technical design and configuration of Workday modules, including but not limited to HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, and Recruiting. Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to meet business needs. Design and implement integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems. Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex Workday issues. Troubleshoot integrations, data issues, and system errors. Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation. Provide quality assurance reviews. Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing. Partner with Workday support to escalate and resolve critical problems. Work closely with HR functional teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Partner across technology teams to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Skillset and Qualifications: 10+ years relevant Workday experience configuring and deploying in all stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment. Strong understanding of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration capabilities, data model, and security framework. Experience in leading and managing Workday implementations. Certifications (including pro) in relevant areas like Workday HCM, Workday Integrations and others. Knowledge of HR processes and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Project management and leadership abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with other HRIS systems.
