Position: Senior Node.js Developer Contract - Hybrid Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Need locals consultants with 12+ years of experience) Duration: 12+ Months Key skills: Experience in consuming SOAP and REST Web services JavaScript, HTML, CSS Experience with Node.js. Job Description: Years of experience: 12+ Years of work experience is mandatory. Strong proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6 to build RESTful API Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it e.g., Express, Hapi Understanding the nature of asynchronous vs synchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds. Good understanding of server-side templating languages e.g., Jade, EJS. Good understanding of NoSQL vs SQL database and working knowledge on MongoDB.
