This is a remote opportunity. As a Network Administrator you'll be responsible for maintaining and administering computer networks and related environments. You'll provide hands-on and remote help-desk support, troubleshoot network issues, and perform upgrades and installations as needed. PLEASE METION : VISA, CURRENT LOCATION AND LINKEDIN Mode of Interview: Step 1: One-way video interview Step 2 : Interview with Hiring manager Responsibilities: Maintained and administered computer networks and related computing environments, including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. Perform hands-on and remote help-desk duties for clients such as troubleshooting desktops, printers, cables, cameras, and any other tasks assigned. Perform network infrastructure upgrades, installations, and configurations as needed. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes. Understanding of all aspects of design and implementation of corporate networking and systems infrastructure, including VPN, SDWAN, network connectivity, Internet access, email, servers, etc. Demonstrated proficiency with LAN switches, including VLANs and segmentation. Document network infrastructure and keep network diagrams up to date. Ensure network security and compliance with company policies and procedures. Wireless Access Points and wireless security protocols such as EAP with RADIUS. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented approach. Able to troubleshoot network issues from network connectivity, routing, and firewall issues, through DNS and higher-level protocols. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with infrastructure components such as servers, storage systems, and virtualization technologies is preferred. Proficient with backup and restore technologies and best practices. Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in network administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience working as a Network Administrator or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Fortinet experience is a plus Experience configuring Layer 2 and layer 3 networking with 802.1q (VLANs), 802.1af/at (PoE), 802.1d (STP), BGP, OSPF, LACP.
