Job Title: Lead Java Developer Location: (Charlotte / Atlanta / Chicago) Onsite Duration: 6 months contract 10+year exp required Must have Financial domain required Senior Java Developer (Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts, including OAuth, JWT, and other authentication/authorization protocols.) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a lead for a team of developers working on Java applications focused on the identity and access management domain. This role requires a deep understanding of identity mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT, as well as a strong commitment to writing high-standard, maintainable code. Responsibilities : Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications in the identity and access management domain. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in Java development. Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts, including OAuth, JWT, and other authentication/authorization protocols. Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools Knowledge of security best practices in software development. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
