Normal hours of access are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time (PT), excluding State holidays

Project Scope:

The Governors Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), Public Safety Communications (PSC), California 9-1-1 Emergency Communications (CA 9-1-1) Branch is authorized by Government Code (GC) Sections 53100-53121 to manage and oversee statewide 9-1-1 Services. The authority to oversee the expenditures of State Emergency Telephone Number Account (SETNA) funds is provided in the California Department of Finances (DOF) Manual of State Funds, 0022. The CA 9-1-1 Branch is responsible for administering SETNA, which provides funding to California Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) for9-1-1 systems and services. Cal OES will complete the transition to Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG 9-1-1) in 2025 and expects legacy 9-1-1 traffic to be possible through 2025 until the selective router services will no longer be needed.

The one (1) Data Analyst shall be responsible for all PNSP, RNSP, PSAP, Cal OES, and Call Processing Equipment (CPE) maintenance provider, trouble ticket tracking and analysis. Specific instructions will be developed by Cal OES and the Contractor.

Responsibilities:

Data entry of issues needing remediation into the client provided ticketing management system.

Create reports analyzing trends in identified issues that need remediation.

Ad hoc reporting on an as-needed basis.

Support conference call bridges to ensure compliance with testing plan

Mandatory Skills:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes. At least three (3) of that experience must have been in a data analyst capacity

Minimum of three (3) years of experience with analyzing complex IP networks that deliver voice and other data elements.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience with data analysis, milestone tracking, and status reporting.
