POCs A Solution Architect is an Expert-level engineer, within two or more engineering domains (e.g., Enterprise Software Development, Software Testing and Quality, Cloud Computing, DevOps), that is responsible for owning the design and driving the details of the end-to-end architecture used to solve a clients business problem. A Solution Architect collaborates with other key delivery roles (i.e., Product Owners, Technical Leads, Software Engineers) to manage scope, translate difficult technical solutions into business terminology and vice versa, and provide client expectation management, risk identification and management. While not producing deliverables all day, every day the role leads and mentors while contributing to the teams deliverables where appropriate. Oversee ongoing technical product roadmaps, according to business strategies and enterprise architecture Coach, mentor and collaborate with technical subject matter experts and Enterprise Architect peers on the technology patterns to best deliver consistency and quality across the organization Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to quickly demonstrate feasibility of the product idea and realize it as a viable solution Responsible for generating architecture documents, logical flows, and models to keep the team informed on the architecture of the platform Lead the modernization efforts of legacy applications by conducting in-depth analysis and assessment of existing systems.
