We need the SOX experience. You might have some folks who have it but only put down Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) or Regulatory background within a Bank. We have 2 new openings for tech writers. They need SOX background and Banking Technical Writing. . They will have to be able to work 2 days a week from Frisco, TX or Auburn Hills MI. Comerica calls their technical writing documents: SIDs (system integration documents) They are making a shift from focusing on PMs with banking experience, understanding banking functions and the business, priorities and drivers. Role- supporting multiple projects (examples: updating user guide, technical writing docs), working across the organization (Up, down, horizontal), taking on ad-hoc tasks, helping colleagues as requested, comfortable driving (asking next steps, asking Qs, being proactive, pick up the phone, follow up), working independently, asking a lot of different people questions They are bringing a lot of payments efforts and with this comes a lot of tech writing work. Large, complex program, Enterprise Security/Tech space, assigned to Tech domains (Payments & Treasury Management, Enterprise). Focus for this domains projects- remediating SOX controls issues, helping technology to risk controls, reviewing existing controls to determine if they have standard design framework on how to implement the controls, ensuring the controls are being followings, adding controls inside of application, review tech packages for accuracy, enterprise risk applications (including Archer), technology life cycle management (TLCM), risk & control review (ROAR), IAM privilege access management for lines of business, anything under the risk umbrella. Challenges- They arent governing themselves well. Adopting new IAM platform (CyberArch, Sailpoint) + SOX remediation Methodologies- Agile Scrum, Agile SAFe, Waterfall, hybrid (Agile + Waterfall) Client Written Job Description: Produce high quality documents, familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures. Develop training documentation, quick reference guides, on-line documents, user- guides and create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of application modules. Computer Skills, Data migration, Self-starter / directed with the ability to manage work / deliverables per schedule, Experienced technical writer with the ability to simplify and standardize templates (continuously improve the process).
