Job Title: Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Location: 1025 Virginia Avenue Atlanta, GA 30354 Duration: 13+ Months with possible extension/conversion Client: Delta Airlines MOI: 2nd round will be in person Notes: There will be a technical screening call as well on teams so candidates should be available for 15-20mins to take that call today only. May Pay: $50/Hr on C2C The candidate needs to be local as 2nd round will be in person. Highly skilled in scripting languages such as TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting. Candidate needs to have: 5 to 7 years of experience in IT with expertise in test automation for applications from UI and API layers. Highly skilled in scripting languages such as TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting. Hands-on experience with querying languages like SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and/or NoSQL databases. Experience writing and maintaining automated UI and API tests in Java, JavaScript, or Python using open-source testing libraries like Cypress. Knowledge of QT and familiarity with QML is a plus. Experience with API and microservices testing and automation. Proficient in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) with frameworks like Cucumber or JBehave. Experience deploying applications in AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes). Hands-on experience automating backend REST services using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate, Cypress, and Ready API. Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch using design patterns like Page Object Model (POM). Familiarity with agile frameworks such as SCRUM, SAFe, and XP. Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Circle CI. Ability to independently create and maintain automation test jobs using tools like Jenkins. Experience working with source code management tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or AWS Code Commit. Job Description: Design, develop, script, and execute test cases using TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or shell scripting languages. Define automation strategies, create automation cases, and design tools for unit, functional, and performance testing. Own the design and implementation of tests to ensure end-to-end quality of major deliverables, collaborating closely with multiple engineers and teams. Propose improvements to existing processes and build automated tools, libraries, and utilities to enhance team speed, quality, and efficiency. Write testing code to identify defects in production-level code and component/feature integration. Work with a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI to back-end distributed web services. Integrate tests and infrastructure automation into the CI/CD pipeline. Contribute to agile development teams following 12-factor application development principles. Collaborate effectively within the team environment.
