Role: Business Systems Analyst - Financial (741438) Location: Richmond, VA(DBHDS) HYBRID Duration: 12 Months With State or Federal Client Exp F2F Round Client: Commonwealth of Virginia - DBHDS Rate: $60/hr n c2c Local to Virginia Job Description: ABOUT THE ROLE DBHDS is launching a multi-phase project to replace its outdated financial management system with Oracle Fusion Applications (including ERP). Phase 1 will be conducted July 2024 through June 2025 and will replace the accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and subledger functionality. Integrations will be built with the Commonwealth statewide financial system (Cardinal) and procurement system (eVA). Additional business analysis will be conducted to prepare for Phase 2 (procurement, cost accounting, and patient fund accounting). This project must go live before the start of the next state fiscal year (July 1, 2025) and therefore will be very fast paced. The Business System Analyst reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. The analyst leads analysis and solution definition; understands the business issues and data challenges of the organization; identifies organizations strengths and weaknesses; and suggests areas of improvement. This role will document requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions. This role must have the ability to analyze systems and procedures, write and revise standards and procedures, communicate effectively, and train others. In addition, this position will Identify, understand and plan for organizational and human impacts of the new system and ensure that new technical requirements are properly integrated with existing processes and skill sets.
