| Title: Sr. OneTrust Consultant Location: Charlotte, NC, United States Onsite Flexibility: 50% Remote Description: A Technical Architect for a consent management solution is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of systems and frameworks that manage user consent for data privacy and compliance. This role is crucial in ensuring that the organization adheres to regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws. The architect will work with platforms like OneTrust to create scalable, secure, and compliant consent management systems. Key Responsibilities: System Design and Architecture: Design and architect consent management solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and compliant with relevant data privacy regulations. Integrate consent management solutions with existing systems, including CRM, marketing automation, and other data processing tools. Implementation and Integration: Lead the implementation of consent management solutions, configuring platforms like OneTrust to meet organizational requirements. Develop APIs and integration points to ensure seamless data flow between the consent management solution and other systems. Compliance and Security: Ensure that the consent management solution complies with global data privacy laws and regulations. Implement robust security measures to protect personal data and consent records. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with legal, compliance, IT, and marketing teams to gather requirements and ensure the consent management solution meets all needs. Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams on the use of consent management platforms. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of the consent management solution, ensuring it meets SLAs and is optimized for performance and scalability. Continuously assess and improve the system to adapt to new regulations and business requirements. Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the consent management architecture, processes, and integrations. Generate reports on consent status, data subject requests, and compliance metrics for internal and external stakeholders. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). Proficiency in consent management platforms like OneTrust. Experience with API development and system integrations. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Client Cloud) and microservices architecture. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex requirements and design solutions that address both technical and regulatory needs. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing system performance and compliance. Project Management: Experience managing technical projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Ability to work in an Agile environment and lead cross-functional teams. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various departments. Preferred Experience: Prior experience working with consent management solutions in a similar capacity. Certifications in relevant privacy and data protection fields (e.g., CIPP, CIPM). Hands-on experience with data privacy management software and tools beyond OneTrust. Remarks: . .
