Java Job Description: The project involves migrating all PSS Integration applications in the Charlotte Data Center (CSMC) to the North Data Center (NDC) and all dependent servers such as MQ, DataPower, databases, load balancers, etc. The scope includes 27 IBM ACE applications and 4 other .NET applications. Key tasks include converting applications to a Cloud Compatible version, updating policies, converting to microservices, removing reliance on disks, and eliminating the usage of local queues. Additionally, the project will set up active-passive failover between NDC and CSMC and active-active failover between NDC and Tulsa. Servers in CSMC will be decommissioned prior to the Charlotte Exit. Program and build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support. Primary Responsibilities: Participate in requirements analysis. Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture. Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages. Test and deploy applications and system. Revise, update, refactor and debug code. Improve existing software. Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC). Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support Qualifications: Proven experience as a .NET Developer Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)). Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3 Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
