Overview: We are seeking a skilled Senior Cisco Network Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Cisco Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex Cisco network infrastructures. Your expertise in Cisco technologies, coupled with industry-standard certifications like CCAR, CISSP, and CCDE, will be pivotal in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our network environment. Responsibilities: Design and implement Cisco network solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices. Develop detailed network architecture plans, including hardware, software, protocols, and configurations. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing network infrastructure. Evaluate network performance and make recommendations for improvements. Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect data, software, and hardware. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers. Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a Cisco Network Architect or similar role in designing and managing large-scale Cisco network environments. SME knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF). Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (ASA, Firepower), and VPN solutions. Industry certifications such as CCAR (Cisco Certified Architect), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), and CCDE (Cisco Certified Design Expert) are required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience with network virtualization technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, SDN).
