Role: Java Architect Location: Albany, New York Duration: 24 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 9657 Client: NY State Description Lead designer to replatform a system. Duties Support existing data exchange of ADT and VXU messages, as well as other HL7 message types, from the OMH systems in real time to the Qualified Entities. Create diagrams and documentation for application and infrastructure architecture. Help debug Java applications for complex problems pertaining to existing API. Architect, develop, and manage the move to new supported infrastructure. Mandatory Requirements Experience (12+ Years) Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-levelled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months experience in designing, coding, testing, maintaining, and debugging Java 8/J2EE distributed applications, including REST, domain model Microservices, Spring Boot, API gateway, etc. 84 Months experience in API design and implementation (remote vs local APIs, routing and reverse proxying, load balancing, optimization techniques). 84 Months experience designing secure applications using SSDLC, security APIs, transport and message layer security, encryption and decryption algorithms for data security, SAML and Multi factor authentication. 60 Months experience using version/source control, continuous integration, deployment and testing. 24 Months experience in programming public sector government IT projects. 24 months experience with ensuring HIPAA Guidelines, including data encryption, are met and followed. This position requires at least a bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent in a relevant technology field from an accredited institution.
