| Senior Objective-C Developer Location: Columbus OH (3 Days per week onsite) Duration: Contract Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Objective-C Developer with extensive experience in developing iPad applications. As a pivotal member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable iPad applications using Objective-C. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering quality software solutions and possess deep knowledge of iOS development frameworks. Responsibilities: Work with stakeholders to design and develop advanced applications for the iPad using Objective-C. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proven experience as a Senior Objective-C Developer with a focus on iPad applications. Experience with dependency management using Cocoa Pods as well as the automation tool Fastlane. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to backend services. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: Experience with Grails framework for backend development. Familiarity with AWS services for deployment, scalability, and storage. Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS for data storage and management. Experience with SQL databases. Experience with Swift and/or hybrid Objective-C/Swift projects. Familiarity with continuous integration. Published one or more applications in the App Store. Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
