From: Yogesh Chauhan, Sibitalent [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title : Principal QA Engineer - Workday Implementation Project Duration : 6+ Visa : No H1B PV : Veritas Search Group Location : Remote in South California(Need Locals to South CA)- Flexible with periodic on-site meetings (3-4 times throughout the project) Overview: A prominent client is currently embarking on a significant Workday implementation and seeks a seasoned Lead QA Analyst to guide and manage the quality assurance phase of the project. This pivotal role involves a blend of leadership and hands-on responsibilities, ensuring the successful deployment of Workday modules by validating and tailoring test cases to align with the company's unique requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy for the Workday implementation, ensuring robust, end-to-end testing of modules. Write and manage test scripts, leveraging scripts provided by vendors and adapting them to fit the company's specific needs. Act as a functional lead within the People Department, fostering strong collaboration and a positive working relationship with team members and stakeholders. Engage in hands-on testing activities, including building and managing test cases based on vendor inputs and customizing them to company-specific scenarios. Coordinate and lead a small testing team, providing guidance and oversight to ensure quality outcomes. Liaise with multiple project resources, ensuring testing activities are aligned with the overall project timeline and objectives. Attend on-site meetings as required (3-4 times during the project duration) to collaborate with project stakeholders and ensure testing alignment with business requirements. Qualifications: Proven experience as a QA Lead or Senior QA Analyst, preferably with a focus on HRIS or Workday implementations. Strong understanding of Workday functionality and the ability to tailor vendor-provided test scripts to meet organizational needs. Proficient in building and managing test cases, with an openness to adopting automation tools and methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for working collaboratively and fostering a positive team environment. Ability to travel for on-site meetings as needed (approximately 3-4 times during the project).
