Security Engineer to join the team of a local client. The Security Engineer will be responsible for various security tasks to ensure the protection of data, systems, and applications. These tasks will include threat detection, incident response, vulnerability analysis, and security policy implementation.Qualifications 4+ years of experience as a Security Engineer Solid understanding of security concepts and principles (access control, cryptography, network security, etc.) Experience with security frameworks (NIST cybersecurity, CIS controls) Experience with SIEM systems Experience with scripting languages for automation (Python, Bash) Experience with Azure preferred Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, data encryption) Monitor security logs and alerts and analyze incidents, investigate potential breaches, and recommend remediation strategies Develop and maintain security policies and procedures Perform security assessments and penetration testing Participate in incident response procedures and disaster recovery planning Document security activities and procedures Keywords: Texas Security Engineer -- Frisco, TX -- Onsite -- 5 years -- [email protected] |
