The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Oracle-based systems critical to our business operations. Geographical preference -- although not required, a candidate who is willing and able to work on-site at the UPS worldwide headquarters campus in Atlanta, Georgia x3 days per week with other days being virtual. Essential Skills: PL/SQL: Proficient in efficient, secure, and portable code within the Oracle database environment. Oracle Security: Experienced with Oracle security, privileges, and permissions. SQL Tuning: Able to optimize SQL queries for performance. Data Modeling: Understands data warehouse concepts and able to model data effectively. Other Programming: Experience with C++ is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop high-quality Oracle applications. Analyze user requirements and convert them into database design. Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Perform database tuning and performance optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver business solutions.
