Role: GIS Systems Administrator Location: Austin,TX - Needed Local Duration: 12 Months Rate: $60/hr on C2C Job Description: GIS Systems Administrator hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of Applications Architect II and the specifications outlined in this document. Add the TxDOT work to be accomplished: Responsible for supporting all GIS infrastructure deployed in the TxDOT Environment. Primary resource responsible for support and maintenance of ArcGIS Enterprise deployment for GIS Platform. As part of the maintenance team, this resource will oversee enhancements to the existing infrastructure or configure new deployments in environment as needed. This resource shall closely work with GIS architects and ensure all GIS deployment standards and guidelines are adhered. The workers' responsibilities and skills must include: WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (Required) Minimum (Required): insert specific minimum skills for this Contract Position) Years Skills/Experience 4-7 years Experience in install and maintenance of GIS infrastructure. 4-7 years Experience in ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, ArcGIS Server, and Portal for ArcGIS. 4-7 years Experience in modifying and updating ArcGIS deployments with Chef and Cloud Formation Templates. 4-7 years Experience working on solutions deployed in AWS or GCP 4-7 years Experience configuring and maintaining ESRI License manager. 4-7 years Experience in securing and maintaining the site using firewalls and ports, server certificates, and adhering to enterprise security policies 4-7 years Experience with ArcGIS workflow automation tools like Python API for ArcGIS and WebGISDR tool. 4-7 years Experience in monitoring the performance and health of the site using ArcGIS Monitor, server logs and statistics 4-7 years Experience in upgrading ArcGIS software to latest versions following ESRI standards and security policies Preferred (Optional): insert specific preferred skills for this Contract Position) Years Skills/Experience 3 years Perform configurations of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions (ArcGIS Apps, etc.) Experience with supporting GIS database services (RDBMS), specifically on SQL Server.
