Role: PPDS/IBP Architect Client: confidential Location: Remote Visa: USC/GC/GC-EAD/H4-EAD Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PPDS/IBP Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced planning and scheduling solutions using SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) and SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning). The architect will collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize production planning processes and ensure the seamless integration of these systems with other enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement PPDS and IBP solutions that meet business requirements. Develop detailed technical specifications and system configurations. Lead the deployment of PPDS/IBP solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals. System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of PPDS and IBP with other SAP modules and third-party applications. Work closely with IT and business teams to facilitate data integration and process synchronization. Optimization and Maintenance: Continuously monitor and optimize PPDS and IBP systems for performance and efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to planning and scheduling systems. Perform regular system upgrades and apply patches as needed. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand planning and scheduling needs. Provide expert advice on best practices and industry standards in production planning and detailed scheduling. Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and other team members. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes. Generate regular reports on system performance, usage, and improvement opportunities. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP PPDS and IBP implementation and support. Proven track record of successful project management and system integration. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP modules is highly desirable. Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP PPDS and IBP functionalities and configurations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. Certifications: SAP certification in PPDS and/or IBP is preferred.
