Lab environment (pre-prod, testing, certification) Requirements Top 5 Requirements: Working knowledge of PON (Passive Optical Network) Experience testing OLTs (Optical Line Terminal) Working knowledge of CMTS platforms including: Casa C100G, Arris E6000, Cisco cBR8 | vCMTS experience preferred Working knowledge of switch platforms including: Cisco NCS/ASR, Juniper QFX/ACX Working knowledge of routing protocols including: OSPF, ISIS, BGP, v4/v6 Multicast Plusses: Lab environment experience (coming from operations is fine though) Automation experience, specifically with Python Day to Day/Project: vCMTS and RPD Regression Testing and Certification Working in lab environment alongside other engineers in a similar capacity Focused on PON Passive Optical Network not working on optical transport Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps. Programs routers and switches.
