Description: Sr. Database Developer Assist business analysts in reviewing existing SQL code and creating technical requirements for a new application. This will include identifying gaps and redundancies in the logic and helping to identify solutions to ensure compliance with complete requirements. These technical requirements will then be used to code new processes to meet business needs. Navigate SQL code (Microsoft SQL Server) and identify/document logic. Assist in identifying gaps and redundancies in the logic and update requirements to resolve. Use technical requirements to develop a data mart and stored procedures to query for populations within the data mart. Create other database objects as necessary to assist in the creation of reporting and applications. Regularly attend meetings with business analysts and Compliance to ensure requirements are complete and meet regulatory requirements. Skills : Strong T-SQL (MS SQL Server preferred) development skills to create complex queries and database objects. Experience in the mortgage servicing industry, preferably working with MSP BDE datasets. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify gaps in logic and solutions to resolve. Ability to cross the line between the technical and business sides to serve as a liaison between team members. Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with analysts and Compliance. Ability to work independently and accomplish goals with minimal oversight and review. Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
