However, position status is subject to change The State of Wisconsin is looking for a Certified Project Manager III Candidates must have BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE EXPERIENCE. Good communication, ability to clearly articulate Business Intelligence experience, ability to manage multiple projects. V ALID PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL (PMP) CERTIFICATION REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Top Skills: Thorough understanding of industry standard project management methodologies and reporting including PMP (or similar industry standard) Certification Strong customer service and relationship management experience Experience managing multiple in-flight business intelligence/data warehousing projects simultaneously. Project documentation skills and experience to support project chartering, scoping, and other project deliverables. INTERVIEW NOTES: Phone and web-based interviews will be acceptable. VALID PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL (PMP) CERTIFICATION The DCF Child Care Child Welfare section is looking for a results oriented and adaptable individual with a can do attitude to lead business intelligence projects for our business partners. This project manager will lead multiple projects from small to multi-million-dollar development efforts. The project manager will work with other project managers in DCF and possibly with other State of WI Departments such as the Department of Administration (DOA) and the Department of Health Services (DHS). The person in this role will lead the business intelligence development team members to complete projects and work closely with our business partners to ensure its success. The individual in this position will: Be responsible for technical and overall project management on enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture. Develops project charters, plans, deliverables and other project artifacts. Works closely with the project sponsor and IT senior management to understand and prioritize project tasks. Solves complex technical problems. Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives in support of enterprise-wide business intelligence. Builds an effective team and directs the work of the project team to meet project milestones. Develops standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of the business intelligence documentation, tools, and systems. Develops data/information quality metrics. Develop and maintain project charters, plans, deliverables, and other project artifacts. Work closely with the project sponsor and IT senior management to understand and prioritize project tasks, solve complex technical problems, understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis. Research new technology and develops business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions. Participate in special projects as required. Have 12+ years of project management experience with leading large and complex database management systems, business intelligence tools and systems. Selected candidate must provide copies of any/all certifications as part of the hiring process. The candidate should have strong communication skills and should be a team player.
