We are have a number of underlying including AWS cloud, Azure Cloud, and Data Center. We also have a container platform that allows the applications to be packaged up into containers and deployed in either of the Project Description: The container platform team is responsible for providing and supporting clusters where application teams can deploy their applications into containers. We are providing a solution based on OpenShift presently and are working to create another solution based on Amazon EKS. Position Summary/Job Description: This engineer will help develop and deliver an Amazon EKS solution for containers. They will also actively support our openshift clusters and assist customers with their questions, requests, and issues. They will excel at troubleshooting and resolving functional issues in the code. A good candidate will be skilled at breaking large problems into smaller ones and defining acceptance criteria. Persistent in the face of roadblocks, this candidate dispatches issues efficiently and pulls in others as necessary. This individual understands the architecture around the core systems they are responsible for. This engineer will require minimal direction and/or oversight on the work that is assigned. They should be an active participant in team and project planning activities.
