These hybrid (Angular + Cordova) Applications provide comprehensive views of assets and liabilities, quick payments and transfer capabilities, projected income, breaking news, research and much more for the wealth management clients. As a developer specializing in Web Application Architecture & Continuous Integration on the mobile team, youll hold a position responsible for: Stewarding the web application architecture to achieve native app-like performance, security, and appearance Evolving this web architecture to support an ever-changing mobile ecosystem (of devices and operating systems), and ensure re-use across varied native applications Driving the tools and training that enable the broader web development teams to contribute their write-once code to the mobile application, including the developer configuration of Macs used by these developers Managing a team of web developers (onshore + offshore) that interface with business and user experience colleagues to build mobile-only functionality, and review the work done by write-once teams destined for the mobile platform Your behind-the-scenes roles will include: Ownership of the web application CICD build on Macs in the cloud, where youll monitor and optimize performance, and adjust for changes to internal infrastructure Responsibility for logging, monitoring, diagnosing, and responding to production stability issues Education: Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science/Engineering Primary / Required Skills: Strong experience with CSS, SASS, HTML5, webpack, and Angular Web application development experience (ideally) for full-screen hybrid apps (i.e., addressing safe area, software keyboards, debugging, etc) or (at a minimum) for mobile web browsers Experience with web browser Dev Tools across platforms Knowledge of modern (responsive) web application design skills. Experience with Git, node, reviewing pull requests Excellent Communication Skills Team management skills Exposure to Agile and Jira Secondary / Desired skills: Familiarity with deploying apps to the Apple and Google Play stores Cordova Splunk Azure pipelines Native (iOS / Android) development and deployment skills Fluency with the macOS terminal (zshell ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Role: Oracle Apex Developer Location: Morrisville, NC/Remote JD: Lead design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX application to meet business requirements. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand application requirements and translate them into efficient database designs. Integrate Oracle APEX applications with other systems and databases as needed. Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to implement business logic. Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans, indexing strategies, and tuning SQL statements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on Oracle APEX development best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices. Implement Rest webservices to Fetch and push data. Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching as required. Develop and maintain technical documentation including data models, schema diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Stay up to date with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices. Review and validate solution design and ensure it covers all the technical aspects. Coordinate with the offshore teams on the development activities and participate in solution design discussions. Other Responsibilities: Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Participates as a member of a high-performance team for targeted / strategic initiatives. Attends training or learning opportunities to broaden knowledge. Work on internal and external demos for various project POCs. Work closely with various integration teams like Oracle SOA, Azure data bricks team etc. for data integration. Work with data analysts to analyze and locate the correct data for data modelling purposes. Test Applications as needed and work with the test leads to analyze /address issues. Overseeing daily technical operations Coordinating with the software development team in addressing technical debt QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Proven work experience as an Oracle APEX Developer. Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Experience with Oracle Database design and performance tuning. Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and RESTful web services Strong communications skills an absolute requirement. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Implementing Rest webservices to Fetch and push data. Experience dealing with large data and developing complex APEX based applications and have understanding creating data model, DDL and using Oracle Database 19c. Evaluate and validate solution interfaces, integration points and dependencies. Liaising with the engineering team for project completion Reviewing ongoing operations and rectifying any issues Understanding project requirements and developing detailed structure Implementing best practices and coding standards Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus. Technologies: Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle database, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JQUERY and AJAX Preferred Qualifications: Oracle APEX certification. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Familiarity with healthcare or clinical research industry.
