| Only USC/GC Role: SAP PPDS / IBP Architect 100% Remote Area 6+ Month Contract Phone then Video Job Description: We are looking for a skilled SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) / IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP PPDS and IBP solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing production planning processes and integrating them with broader supply chain and business planning strategies. Responsibilities: SAP PPDS Expertise : Lead the design and implementation of SAP PPDS solutions, including production planning, detailed scheduling, capacity planning, and material requirements planning (MRP). SAP IBP Implementation : Architect IBP solutions to enhance demand planning, inventory optimization, supply planning, and sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes. Integration Management : Ensure seamless integration between SAP PPDS, SAP IBP, and other SAP modules (such as SAP ERP) to streamline end-to-end business processes. Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices, standards, and methodologies. Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions. Configuration and Customization : Configure and customize SAP PPDS and IBP functionalities to meet specific business needs and requirements. Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation related to architecture, design decisions, configuration settings, and implementation guidelines. Testing and Validation : Develop test strategies and conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP PPDS and IBP solutions. Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders, ensuring smooth adoption and utilization of SAP PPDS and IBP functionalities. Requirements: Experience : Proven experience (X years) in designing and implementing SAP PPDS and IBP solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules. Technical Skills : Expertise in SAP PPDS, SAP IBP, SAP ERP, and relevant SAP modules. Strong knowledge of SAP integration technologies (IDOCs, RFC, CPI, etc.) and SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus. Business Process Knowledge : Deep understanding of production planning, scheduling, supply chain management, and business planning processes. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-solving Abilities : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges and devise effective solutions. Team Collaboration : Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, providing technical leadership and guidance to achieve project goals. Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. SAP certifications in PPDS and IBP are highly desirable.
