This role involves working across multiple areas within Salesforce to formulate a comprehensive experience for end users from start to finish. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the multi year Salesforce Marketing Cloud journey project, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Facilitate scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and promote agile practices within the project team. Engage with stakeholders to collaborate to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives Oversee the integration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other products and third party systems Develop strategies to enhance the end-user journey from initial engagement to project completion. Direct and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and change logs, using tools like Jira and Confluence. Track project performance, analyze metrics, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years in project management roles, with at least 5 years specifically managing Salesforce projects. Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including implementation and integration PMP certification. Additional certifications in Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce Administrator) are highly desirable. Additional PM certifications are highly desirable Proficient in using Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation. Familiarity with waterfall and agile methodologies Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships Preferred Qualifications: Background and experience in Higher Education CSM certification or other relevant project management certifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Remarks: This position is with the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst). The role is a salesforce project manager that is extremely high visibility for the college - this will be a multi year project (2-3 years) with possibility of hire. Due to the fact the college is a union shop they do not know the projected salary conversion because the bargaining agreement will change by the time the contract is up. USC/GC *The deal in hand candidate will be local to Amherst MA for a hybrid role, so please start your search local and move away if needed* *Hire education experience will also make a candidate stand out (hybrid or remote) Interview Process: 3 rounds to hire all zoom (possible 4 if they can't get 2 of the managers on the same time) They are looking to hire immediately, and with start date in early August. This project has extremely high visibility from leadership and the campus as a whole.
