| Title: Cognos Developer Location: Remote, Sacramento, CA (Must be local to CA) Duration: 6+ Months MOI: Phone then Video Visa: No H1B Job Description : Need of a qualified Cognos Analytics Senior Software Engineer Consultant to work to design and develop complex IBM Cognos Analytics data modules, framework models, cubes, reports, dashboards and data pipelines. Senior Software Engineer will design and implement optimized Cognos data modules and/or cubes to provide fast query performance and efficient data retrieval for reporting and analysis purposes. Required Qualifications : 5 years experience developing Cognos cubes, and data modules, structures, dimensions, measures, and aggregations in Cognos Analytics including versions 11.0.x-12.0.x 5 years experience developing complex framework models in Cognos Analytics including versions 11.0.x-12.0.x 5 years experience developing complex reports and interactive dashboards in Cognos Analytics including versions 11.0.x-12.0.x 5 years experience in data warehousing and ETL processes and advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating data 5 years experience with Oracle and MySQL environments and data structures 5 years experience with Oracle PL/SQL Expert-level knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, views, and triggers. 8 years experience in Cognos report design and development. 5 years experience in training developers, technical support staff, and end users to use various advanced features within the Cognos Analytics environment. 3 engagements/projects using the AGILE methodology approach Thank You!
