Client: NTT Data Americas ****End Client: Blackrock (Potential contract-to-hire- looking for candidates who won't require visa sponsorship at time over conversion) Visa: GC and USC Must Haves: Bachelor's Degree & 5 + years Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) & Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) - Deployment & implementation exp. 4 + years Telecommunications experience. 4+ years VoIP experience Unified Communication (UC) Engineer Location: Princeton, NJ 08540 (Hybrid- 4 days onsite- LOCAL ONLY) Length: 8 months Start: ASAP Overview: The UC Engineering Consultants primary role will be providing architectural and infrastructure support. Since this role is geared towards a technical individual, the candidate should have most/all the required skills and experience in a wide range of technologies and not just Unified Communications. The position is responsible for the design, selection, implementation, integration, management, user experience and retirement of Collaboration and Communication technology. Responsibilities: Work with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on implementation, optimization and security of Cisco Unified Communications system. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting infrastructure and services including CUCM, CUC, IMP, Jabber, Webex, video infrastructure and all other Unified Communications application. Carry out maintenance/upgrades on all Infrastructure and endpoints Own analysis of new technologies from start to finish Provide support to Video Infrastructure team lead Carry out security review of infrastructure and applications Research, analyze, recommend and implement new software, hardware, tools, systems and processes to provide state-of-the-art collaboration experience. Document procedures and processes Develop and maintain user guides, technical guides, project plans and any other system related documentation for respective system. Create help files for support teams Offer thoughts and solutions on improving current technology Escalate issues to vendors Provide metrics/reports for conferencing services Required Skills: Ability to establish and maintain a client trust and confidence. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good troubleshooting skills. Self-sufficient, can own an issue and work on it till completion. Basic knowledge of the financial services industry. Advanced knowledge of Cisco Call Manager. Advanced knowledge of Cisco Meeting Server Advanced knowledge of Cisco Expressway/VCS. Advanced knowledge of Cisco TMS.
