Job Title: Integration Engineer/ SW Developer Job Location: Bay Area, CA (Onsite) Type of Hire: C2C Minimum years of experience required: 8+ years Mandatory Skills : Java, Spring boot, AKS, Kafka. JOB DETAILS: Develop, configure, maintain, and deploy business applications built using ServiceNow Platform and integrate with other systems like SAP, Workday, MS-Azure, OKTA etc., which will be heavily used by the companys workforce. Develop and support new and existing applications to deliver the best experience. Create technical designs for software applications by applying your platform knowledge and good judgement. Write test scripts, performing unit tests and performing peer review. Work with extended teams to manage systems and infrastructure required for ongoing development and releases. Work independently and/or within teams throughout all phases of the development lifecycle. Communicate with end-users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements and solution design. Document technical specifications and designs and provide effort estimates for development. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues as needed. Adhere to ServiceNow established design, coding, naming and standards. Participate in ServiceNow code reviews and apply corrections as required. Adhere to ServiceNow change control processes. Write/revise documentation including operations and user guidelines. Monitor and support processes deployed in production. Continuously scan applications and custom code for security vulnerabilities throughout the Build/Construct project phase (through Information Security Assessment process) and remediate identified vulnerabilities per timelines in the Information Security Policy & Standards. Advise others on detailed specifications for translations into structure application programs conforming to established ServiceNow IT SDLC methodology and standards. Accountable for completion of work on time to meet business performance expectations. Supervise the writing/revision of program documentation, application operational procedures and client user guide in accordance with ServiceNow standards and client needs. Skills : BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. At least 4 years of hands-on experience developing software in developing, integrating and maintaining applications using ServiceNow Platform technology and tools. 5+ years of experience in software application development. Holds certifications in ServiceNow System Administration and ServiceNow Application Developer. Knows how to translate business problems into software & technical requirements. Collaborate with BSAs, QA, PMs and adopt a product management mindset and build - dont just take orders. Proficiency in ServiceNow, JavaScript, JAVA, SQL, and building REST/SOAP APIs. Desirable skills - HTML, CSS, Angular JS or React JS and jQuery. Ability to effectively manage your time across multiple projects in Agile environment. Can use Eclipse IDE, GIT, Maven, Ant and Jenkins or equivalent. Has high coding standards & can maintain them even when the pressure is on. Advanced proficiency in analysis, and communication skills (verbal and written) across all organizational levels.
