Salesforce Business Analyst Must have Salesforce implementation experience Ideally from Financial/Banking background Must sit on-site in the Detroit, MI area 3 days per week Must be willing to have an in-person interview Experience Level 5-10 years Skills & Job Responsibilities Required - 10+ years of overall experience, 5+ years of experience with Salesforce platform. - Proven strength in interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements. - Excellent communicator with ability to communicate verbally and in technical writing to all levels of the organization in a proactive, contextually appropriate manner. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent organizational skills. - Excellent understanding of business process. - Strong experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, etc. - Proven ability to prioritize work by dividing time, attention and effort between assigned workload and on-going support tasks. - Proven ability to easily adapt to changes in processes, procedures and priorities. - Familiar with web service concepts and ability to test web services and interpret responses. - Strong knowledge and hands on working experience with Salesforce platform (Sales cloud & Service cloud) Preferred - Salesforce Admin experience such as developing reports, validation rules and workflows - Mapping backend Web Services and Bulk Data Extract (BDE) is a plus - Proficient with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Azure DevOps - Understanding of testing concepts through the software development lifecycle (unit, performance, regression) and capability to write test cases and test plans. - Finance/Lending industry experience is a plus. Responsibilities - Elicits requirements using interviews, data analysis, workshops, use cases, scenarios, business process analysis and task and workflow analysis. - Evaluates the overall business need and assists with design and implementation to ensure solutions achieve overall business objectives. - Develops a roadmap for meeting the short-and-long term objectives. - Writes requirements and translates specifications to technical experts. Identifies potential technical problems. - In depth analysis for purposes of mapping to Data Warehouse and source system Web Services. - Validate development matches the business expectations before moving items to QA. - Understand the upstream and downstream effects of the enhancement that are being made both from the business process perspective and technology. - Facilitate UAT with the Business Units prior to Release. - Coordinating communication between different development disciplines, Salesforce, Java, Enterprise Data Warehouse, and IT Operations. - Facilitate priority meeting with business leaders to review requests and stack rank prioritized requests. - Manage the request in take process and properly set Business Unit expectations. - Collaborate with other IT Teams and Business Units with an interest in the enhancements made by the Workstream. - Some Salesforce report development and data loading.
