Role: Power BI Lead Location: Chicago, IL/Lake Mary, FL (Only Locals) Duration: Long-Term Contract Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Power BI Lead to join our dynamic team. The Power BI Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to gather requirements, create data models, and develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. Required Skills: Technical Skills: 6-8 years of experience in Power BI roles. Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service. Experience with BI tools and systems such as Tableau and SAP. Knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts. Experience with ETL processes and tools. Expertise in Microsoft BI Stack. Generate reports from Oracle and Snowflake databases. Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI Desktop. Connect data sources, import data, and transform data for business intelligence. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle and analyze large data sets. Experience in data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Additional Requirements: Relevant certifications in Power BI or data analytics are preferred. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and data warehousing solutions. Understanding of data governance and security practices. Ability to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BI technologies.
