The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Citrix environments to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security for our enterprise applications and services. The Citrix Engineer will collaborate with other IT professionals to deliver high-quality technical solutions and support for our organization's virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and application delivery.Key Responsibilities: Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and configure Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix Provisioning Services. Develop and implement strategies for application virtualization, VDI, and remote access solutions. Create and maintain documentation for Citrix environment architecture, configuration, and processes. Administration and Support: Monitor and manage Citrix environments, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Provide second and third-level support for Citrix-related issues and ensure timely resolution. Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and upgrades for Citrix infrastructure components. Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security policies and best practices for Citrix environments. Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards for data protection and privacy. Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and support project initiatives. Communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders to understand needs and provide solutions. Performance Optimization: Conduct regular assessments of Citrix systems to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance. Develop and implement strategies for load balancing, high availability, and disaster recovery for Citrix services. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on Citrix technologies and best practices. Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in Citrix products and services.Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Citrix Engineer or in a similar role with a focus on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and related technologies. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level Citrix environments. Certifications: Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V) or higher preferred. Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization (CCE-V) is a plus. Additional certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, VMware) are advantageous.
