| Salesforce Business Analyst Location: (100% Remote) Nevada Candidates Only JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities: Business analysts are what bring the business requirements to life for the developers. Through their written and verbalized User Stories the business functionality becomes specified and broken down into sprints for development and deployment. Within the support organization the business analyst will operate within an Agile Delivery Methodology. They will refine and deliver against tickets, including defects, enhancements, tech debt, and research/design spikes. This role requires a self-driven individual with a get it done attitude and a passion to solve complex business and technology problems. You work in conjunction with the Solution Owner and Functional Lead to build a solution for a business need. Depending on the nature of the project, you will be required to configure the solution or support a developer in building and testing the solution. You may also be called on to assist with activities like scoping and documentation. This role is well respected by the business community. When a business user/leader has issues, the BA/config is called on to help investigate, solve or mitigate the issue in order to keep the business moving forward. In addition to understanding the business needs, they will be able to use configuration to solve many issues without requiring escalation to a developer. Specific responsibilities include : Analyze business requirements and then recommend, implement, and manage the Salesforce solutions. Cross-platform business requirements will expose you to other tools in the environment, including AWS, Mulesoft, and other ancillary tools. Lead discovery sessions to gather, define, and document business requirements Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Demos Document requirements in the form of user stories Demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders as needed Design and support user acceptance testing (UAT) Present solution options to the business, evaluating the pros and cons of declarative configuration against code and customization Participate in declarative system configuration Provide technical and functional expertise to project teams Participate in training content development and Administrator and end-user training delivery Required Qualifications: Salesforce Platform App Builder certification or ability to achieve certification upon hire. Salesforce Administrator certification or ability to achieve certification upon hire. 2+ years of Salesforce experience and proven understanding of a full software development lifecycle. Understanding of the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AppExchange solutions Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions Analytical techniques - Experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting the outcome, including designing process flows and defining test scripts System configuration - Ability to design and configure a scalable Salesforce solution to meet business needs and determine when custom development is necessary Project management - Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with the complete lifecycle of complex enterprise projects; understanding of core project management concepts, theories, practices, and methods Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Agile tools such as Jira Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications: Salesforce consultant-level certifications such as Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud.
