In this critical role, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of our Data Warehouse, currently under development on a Linux-based Oracle 11g RAC 2 node cluster. You will be an integral part of shaping the future of the data warehouse by supporting key strategic initiatives, including new line of business integrations, data mart and subject area design, and ongoing enhancements. Important Skills and Keywords Oracle PL/SQL (essential): Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex PL/SQL code for data warehouse subject areas. Informatica CDI (Cloud Data Integration): Experience with utilizing Informatica for data warehouse ETL processes. Data Warehousing: Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, design principles, and best practices. ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading): Ability to develop high-performance ETL routines for loading and transforming data. Large Data Models: Experience in designing, working with, and tuning large and complex data models. Data Quality: Proven ability to validate and ensure data quality throughout the data warehouse pipeline. Technical Leadership: Ability to mentor team members, share knowledge, and contribute to efficient reporting query design. Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify solutions for complex data warehousing challenges. Teamwork: Ability to work independently and also lead small sub-teams within the project. Python (plus): Experience with Python scripting for data manipulation can be a beneficial asset. Key Responsibilities Design and implement data warehouse subject areas using advanced PL/SQL techniques. Develop high-performing ETL routines to extract, transform, and load data from production databases. Write scalable and efficient PL/SQL code that adheres to business rules and performs well with large data sets. Integrate new lines of business into the Data Warehouse, requiring the addition of new data sources. Share PL/SQL expertise and mentor team members on designing efficient reporting queries. Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate approaches, and propose solutions for data warehousing initiatives. Qualifications 6-8 years of experience as an Oracle Data Warehouse developer, primarily using Informatica, PL/SQL, and Python. Proven experience in designing and working with large data models. A strong track record of delivering successful data warehouse projects. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
