Position : Project Manager with Strong Python, SAAS database, relational database, AML Hybrid role in NYC (Local only) Location: Hybrid role in NYC (Local only) Core Experience 5+ years Industry Experience Investment bank Mandatory Duration: 6-12 months About Job: Competencies: Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Great attention to detail. Capable of handling multiple, simultaneous, and various ad-hoc requests. Demonstrated history of taking initiative. Ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic, deadline-focused environment. Communication Skills: excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels within the organization and be able to relay complex technical concept to non-technical audience Analytical capability: Able to break down complex problems into simple manageable units, develops solutions for each unit, and integrates them back into the whole. Can absorb ideas quickly and apply them pragmatically. Understanding of overall risk and Compliance risk management in a financial firm Results oriented, meeting goals and priorities defined & consistently deliver quality results. Strong interpersonal effectiveness is self-aware of their own behavior and work style, as well as tolerant of different needs and viewpoints. Demonstrates interest in others opinions and shows consideration, concern, and respect for other people feelings Technical Skills & Knowledge: Solid program skill in python including database process through the coding. (5+ years) Solid knowledge of SQL, scripting, and database (MS SQL & Oracle), including performance tuning and optimization. (5+ years) Solid understanding and working knowledge of Java application development (3+ years) Solid development experience and knowledge of Big Data and working with database on Cloud (2+ years) Experience with XML technologies, including messaging and request/response. (2+ years) Ability to define technical specifications based on client business requirements or functional specifications from business analysts. Strong analytical and debugging skills. Dynamic, detail oriented, fast learning capacity and able to work in a high-pressure environment, able to manage multiple tasks in parallel. Good written & verbal communication skills Statistics and AML knowledge are two pluses. Qualifications (Experience, Education, Languages): 5 years of Intensive coding in python language. Experience in developing applications in financial industry Experience in software engineering developing, packaging, implementing, and supporting applications Development of AML Systems preferred. BS or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology or relevant technical field, MS is preferred.
