Please review our job opening below and kindly send us the updated resume ASAP along with the details of consultants; Please add [email protected] in your distribution list Job Role : Senior Information Security Engineer Location : Remote/ USA Long Term Contract Job description: The Senior Information Security Engineer will provide expert-level support for one or more of SASE, SWG, or Data Loss Prevention (DLP) security tools. They will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of on-premises and cloud security platforms, playing a pivotal role in monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining systems to safeguard internal information systems, networks, databases, and web-based communications and applications. This position requires proactive incident response, security incident investigation and resolution, as well as the development and implementation of security enhancements. The role involves staying updated on security trends and techniques to preemptively address system compromises. The Senior Information Security Engineer will work rotating shifts, including evenings and potential war room support, to ensure continuous coverage and effective change management support. Key Responsibilities: Act as a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in formulating and implementing security procedures and systems. Monitor and respond to security incidents promptly, ensuring effective resolution and mitigation. Collaborate with directors, managers, project managers, architects, and technical leads to ensure seamless communication and continuity across teams. Mentor and coach cybersecurity staff, promoting integration of technological advancements for enhanced security measures. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. Extensive experience providing SME-level support in large enterprise environments. Proficiency in troubleshooting complex issues across multiple platforms and network flows. Strong ability to operate under pressure and manage urgent circumstances effectively. Proven track record of proactive collaboration across teams in geographically dispersed settings. Moderate technical expertise in SASE, Web Proxy, and/or DLP security platforms. Thorough understanding of networking concepts and cloud networking principles. Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical details to diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with migrating on-premises security stacks to cloud solutions (e.g., SASE). Knowledge of advanced DLP capabilities, including data classification and tagging. Familiarity with web proxy platforms and identity and access management (IAM) concepts. Experience with network security tools such as NextGen Firewall, IPS, and Advanced Malware Protection. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, BASH) and API integration. Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and reporting platforms like Splunk, Grafana, and Zabbix. Understanding of native security controls for popular SaaS applications (e.g., Office 365). Experience in Executive Level presentations and advanced Excel reporting. Technical Platforms/Vendors: Netskope, Prisma, Zscaler, Symantec WSS, Defender for Cloud Apps, McAfee MVision, Cisco Cloud lock, Bit glass, Proofpoint, Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian, GTB, Trelix, FireEye, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco Firewall, AnyConnect, Global Protect, Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco Route/Switch, Arista Route/Switch, F5, Gigamon, Ixia. Additional Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of network traffic flow and protocols. Experience in setting up, implementing, and supporting SASE/CASB/SWG environments. Knowledge of next-gen Firewalls and their operational principles. Familiarity with IPS, Advanced Malware Protection, and Endpoint Security tools. Proficiency in Linux or Windows server administration and network engineering. Ability to perform in-depth packet captures and analysis.
