Possessing knowledge of network hardware, networking, software, and configuration. Testing, documenting, setting up, and installing network hardware. Managing technical functions, testing equipment, handling repairs, and conducting site inspections. Rack and stack equipment according to data center standards, ensuring proper cable management and airflow to maintain optimal operating conditions. Manage power distribution units (PDUs), power cables, and environmental monitoring devices to ensure proper power and cooling within the data center. Provide remote hands support to customers or remote technical teams, performing tasks such as server reboots, cable swaps, and hardware installation and uninstallation based on predefined procedures and instructions. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Availability to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed and need to travel frequently to different locations to support data center operations and installation and uninstallation of network equipment in different branch locations. Understanding of network device console access process. Understanding of data deletion and sanitization and e-recycling of network devices.
