Job Title: IBM Presales Technical Architect

Location: Dallas ,TX

converse well with clients on this

Pre-Sales experience : Min 4 years Overall, IBM Products : 2 years min in recent
past

Industry :  Utilities, Energy, HLS, Manufacturing, Aero ( Primary is
first 2 )

Support RFP/ RFQs , SOW preparation, PoCs for the Technical solution portion
of proposals

Job Summary:

As an IBM Presales Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales initiatives by providing
comprehensive technical solutions and expertise to our clients. You will collaborate closely with sales teams and clients to understand their business needs, identify technical requirements, and architect innovative solutions leveraging IBM's products and
services. Your deep understanding of IBM technologies and their application across various industries will be crucial in crafting compelling proposals and presentations that address client challenges and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:
Engage with clients to understand their business objectives,
challenges, and technical requirements. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to become a trusted advisor on technical matters.

Solution Architecture: Architect end-to-end solutions that leverage IBM's products and Cyients services to address client needs effectively. Design robust and scalable solutions that align
with industry best practices and standards.

Technical Presentations:
Deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations to
showcase the value proposition of Cyient and IBM solutions. Tailor presentations to address specific client requirements and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Proposal Development:
Collaborate with sales teams to develop comprehensive proposals
and statements of work (SOWs) that articulate the technical solution, implementation approach, and pricing details. Ensure proposals are aligned with client expectations and Cyient's business objectives using IBM solutions.

Technical Expertise:
Stay updated on the latest developments in IBM technologies,
industry trends, and competitive landscape. Leverage your expertise to provide insights and recommendations that drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Proof of Concept (PoC) Development:
Lead the development of proof of concepts
to validate technical feasibility and demonstrate the value of IBM solutions to clients. Work closely with clients to define success criteria and ensure successful execution of PoCs.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product management, engineering, and support to ensure successful solution delivery and customer satisfaction. Act as
a liaison between the client and internal teams to address technical challenges and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Training and Enablement:
Provide training and enablement sessions to sales teams
and partners to enhance their understanding of IBM solutions and effectively position them in the market. Share best practices and success stories to drive adoption and sales effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of X years of experience in a technical presales or solution architect role, preferably within the IT industry.

Deep understanding of IBM technologies including but not limited to IBM Data, watsonx AI, IBM Automation, IBM Maximo, IBM Sustainability, IBM Cloud, RedHat.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex technical requirements and design innovative solutions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients and articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Proven track record of driving successful presales engagements and achieving sales targets.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Relevant certifications such as IBM Certified Solution Architect are a plus.

Support in hiring SMEs or Solution architects for

business/SL/Technology Org.

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and relevant experience in electronics & computer design domain.
