| Local only from Maryland Title:- API QA TESTER Hybrid in MD 8+ experience Remote but Someone Local to Baltimore, MD or within 30 Mi radius There is a strong preference for this resource to accommodate their hybrid work schedule (2 days per week in office). No h1 No one who recently graduated masters here in USA. if they do they should have graduated before 2017 So we are not looking for a Playwright person.the main tools are Test NG and Postman with a strong emphasis on backend api testing. 8+ years of experience in software development and testing. - Proficiency in automated testing frameworks, specifically TestNG, JUnit, JMeter. - Experience with Git and code management. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines for test automation. - Experience with Postman for API testing. - Solid understanding and experience with REST APIs. - Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting. - Proven experience in developing test cases and test plans. - Proficiency with various testing types such as unit, integration, functional, regression, load/performance testing. - Ability to work in a responsive and flexible manner, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines. - Experience working in a collaborative Agile environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using TestNG. - Utilize Postman to test REST APIs. - Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities. - Work closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve any issues. - Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide inputs on testing matters. - Collaborate with the team to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - Experience with Financial Services or similar industry.
