Job Title: Mid-Level Database Administrator/Sr. Analyst Type: 6mon Contract to Hire (with possible conversion) Location: Vernon, IA (Day One Onsite) (Candidate must be local) Visa: USC/GC Candidates Job Description: Responsibilities: An associate degree in an appropriate computer-related field or equivalent technical certifications and experience. Knowledge in SQL scripting and management. Three to five years of related technical experience is requiredknowledge of MS Dynamics GP, MS Reporting Services, Ellucian PowerCampus, and College Board PowerFaids. Extensive experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Strong understanding of database architecture, design, and performance tuning. Proven experience with database security, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in higher education, including FERPA, HIPAA, and GDPR. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
