The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP EWM configuration, warehouse processes, and a deep understanding of supply chain management. The SAP EWM Consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and supporting end-users to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.Key Responsibilities: System Implementation & Configuration: Lead the configuration of SAP EWM modules to meet business requirements. Develop and maintain functional specifications for custom development. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements. Solution Design & Optimization: Design end-to-end EWM solutions, including inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes. Optimize existing EWM processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Perform system integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP TM) and external systems. Project Management: Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for EWM implementation projects. Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users and support teams. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for EWM issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements. Maintain documentation for EWM processes, configurations, and best practices. Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of EWM implementations. Validate system functionality against business requirements and provide feedback for continuous improvement.Key Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in SAP EWM are a plus. Professional Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in SAP EWM consulting or related roles. Demonstrated experience with SAP EWM implementations, configurations, and support. Experience with other SAP modules (MM, SD, TM) and their integration with EWM is preferred. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP EWM functionality including warehouse structure, master data, goods receipt, goods issue, and inventory management. Proficiency in SAP EWM configuration and customization. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps is advantageous. Knowledge of ABAP for debugging and creating custom reports. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Project management skills and experience in managing end-to-end EWM projects.Preferred Qualifications: SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Extended Warehouse Management. Experience with EWM in various industries (e.g., retail, manufacturing, distribution). Familiarity with advanced EWM features such as Yard Management, Cross-Docking, and Advanced Production Integration.
