Thereafter, consultants may be allowed to work 100% remotely with approval from the Project Manager. Complete Description: The client is looking to engage the services of a Software Engineer 3. The ideal candidate will have Mastery level experience in enterprise level or higher development activities and have the following experience/knowledge: o System development using Microsoft Visual Studio 2019/2022, with both VB.NET and C# languages. o Developing Web and Windows applications o Coding applications & reports using various technology and tools including MVC, ASP.Net, VB.NET, C#, XML, SSRS, and SSIS. o Experience with .Net Core and Blazor o Knowledge of the Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) framework o Creating stored procedures and functions for accessing SQL Server databases. o Ability to write clear and concise technical implementation documentation and comment developed code accordingly. o Verbal communication skills to explain and transfer knowledge both informally and at design and code review meetings. o Provide guidance and training to less experienced developers o Interact with and provide direction on application development and standards required. Minimum Qualifications o Extensive knowledge of creating and maintaining standards throughout an enterprise system o Minimum of eight (10) years of experience developing web applications using both VB.NET, and C# o Knowledge of and experience of software design patterns, including MVC, MVP and MVVM. o Experience using Team Foundation Server/GIT source code repository o Knowledge of Microsoft .NET and .NET Core Enterprise Libraries o Knowledge of and direct experience developing WCF Web Services o Minimum eight (9) years experience development coding applications using SQL Server o Minimum five (7) years experience working, giving guidance and training to less experienced developers on a software project comprised of multiple programmers in a team environment o Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision o Ability to work well with a team of developers and business analysts Timetable The position will require 40 hours per week during normal business hours for 6 months with a possible renewal of up to 6 months, commencing on or about 8/26/24.
