| From: Sampath Goud, Metasys Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Sr SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant Cypress, CA (onsite) 12+Month Contract Experience: 10+ Years Position Overview: Client is seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Senior Consultant with SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling/Managerial Accounting (CO) functional & technical experience executing and delivering a complex migration project from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. The candidate will be responsible for the configuration of SAP S/4HANA Target System to receive selected data migrated from a current SAP ECC system to ensure a seamless transition, while providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout the configuration build, testing and cutover activities of their journey to SAP S/4HANA. Key Responsibilities: Functional and Technical Consulting: o Provide expert guidance and support in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting (FI) module, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting. o Work with SAP S/4HANA Core Team to configure and customize SAP S/4HANA functionalities to meet client requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. o Develop technical solutions and enhancements to support data migration, integration, and reporting requirements. o Provide guidance and support with SAP ECC migration to SAP S/4HANA for three company codes including New GL and Fiscal Year Change as part of the Selective Data Migration and Transformation process. Integration and Data Migration: o Ensure seamless integration of the FI/CO modules with other SAP modules like SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and PP (Production Planning). o Oversee data migration from SAP ECC/legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. o Work with the Selective Data/Bluefield Migration Team on the migration of data from Customers SAP ECC System target SAP S/4HANA System to ensure minimal business disruption and maximum efficiency. o Collaborate with data migration and technical teams on activities regarding data extraction, transformation, and loading into SAP S/4HANA during build, test and cutover phases of the project. Reporting and Analytics: o Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards using SAP tools. o Assist in the utilization of SAP S/4HANA's embedded analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights into financial data. Project Management and Leadership: o Lead FI/CO teams, manage timelines, and coordinate with stakeholders. o Serve as the primary contact for SAP FI/CO-related queries and issues. o Keep abreast of the latest SAP technologies and updates, recommending upgrades or new features as appropriate. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in SAP FI (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting) and SAP CO (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Product Costing and Material Ledger) module implementation and support. Knowledge and experience with Fiscal Year Change/Conversion is required. In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling configurations, functionalities, and best practices with a minimum of two (2) SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Selective Data Transfer or Brownfield migration projects. Proven experience as a key team member in projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA involving Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling/Managerial Accounting (CO) applications leveraging SAP tools during the migration and transformation process. Experience with other SAP modules and migration tools, such as Data Migration Cockpit, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Production Planning, Inventory Management and Warehouse Management is a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. SAP S/4HANA certification in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) is highly desirable.
