Role: Java Backend Developer with GCP Location: Boston, MA/ RI Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 8 years Key Skills: GCP Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain Java-based backend services and applications. Ensure high performance and responsiveness of backend services. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Utilize Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other Adobe technologies to develop and integrate backend systems. Implement and maintain APIs and services for Adobe solutions. Work with Adobe Marketing Cloud and Adobe Analytics for data-driven decision making. Design and manage scalable and secure cloud-based backend services using GCP. Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using GCP services such as Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and more. Optimize and ensure the reliability of cloud services and applications. Design and maintain efficient and secure database schemas. Implement database solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases. Ensure data integrity and optimize database performance. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Implement automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer, with a strong understanding of Java and its ecosystem. Experience working with Adobe technologies such as AEM, Adobe Marketing Cloud, and Adobe Analytics. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud-based architecture. Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Terraform). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect (preferred). Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager (preferred).
