Contract duration: 12 months w/ option to extend Deal-breaker requirements: Local and able to work onsite in San Jose Hands-on experience w/ Nortel PBX Hands-on experience w/ Cisco VoIP technology and implementation (CUCM, Unity VM system, Paging, etc.) Must have experience in hospital environments Able to design, configure, and deploy Cisco Unified Communications technology Great communication skills Objective: Complete tasks relating to Migration from legacy Nortel PBX system to Cisco VoIP platform. Specific Tasks: Assess - Current state of Nortel PBX system and map out Analog & Digital ports. Recommend - Future state with Cisco VoIP platform Implement - Future state of the new system. Test - Test future state in non-production environment Support & Maintain - Support issues & questions coming from the future state Knowledge Transfer - Knowledge transfer to County personnel regarding the future state. Required Skills & Abilities: Working knowledge of Cisco VoIP/Telecom and Nortel PBX system Ability to design and/or configure the network infrastructure for deployment of Cisco Unified Communications technology. Experience Requirements: Hand-on experience of Nortel PBX system. Hands-on experience on all aspects of Cisco VoIP technology & its implementation (e.g., CUCM, Unity VM system, Paging etc.).
