Please response me on my official email - [email protected] Job Title: Senior Product Designer Location: Portland, Oregon or Cincinnati, Ohio ( Hybrid ) Kroger is seeking a 12 month + possible extensions contractor for a Product Designer to support the Supply Chain/Logistics/Warehouse division with a product centric project to implement and enhance a new TMS system (Transportation Management System). This person will help to drive the integration and enhancement of new capabilities. This person needs to have a Product Design background - experience with initial concept and design of a product. Required Skills and Experience: - 7-10+ Product Designer experience - Data heavy mindset - Hands-on service design experience in multi-product ecosystem is a MUST. - Have work samples for journey mapping & service blueprinting real work experience - Logistics/Warehouse/Supply Chain Industry experience - be able to lead the decision to "buy or build" Nice to have: - Product Centric strategy experience - Knowledge of TMS - transportation management systems: (Blue yonder, Manhattan, Oracle, Propsero) Notes from my discussion with the Manager About The Role: UX strategy perspective. Service design slate. Dovetail UX Research tool or UserZoom exp. will apply. Seeking someone comfortable doing research and discovery. Determining insights. More of a Service Designer that understand systems, opportunities, and problems from both business and user POV. Expertise in blueprinting, journey mapping Interpersonal skills will be highly desired as Kroger is difficult to navigate. Wants someone savy in Business tech strategy...decided what to build and what to buy. Prior experience with Integration applications that are internally developed. Understand how to scope. For example, connecting 3rd party solution A to 3rd party solution B Seeking someone to build synergy...work on alignment. Collaborate. Someone who can speak Transportation and Logistics would be a plus. Otherwise would take months to ramp up on the language. Target Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation, or Supply Chain. Knowledge of transportation management systems Blue Yonder, Manhattan, Oracle, or Prospero. Modernizing to Blue Yonder. Team uses Figma and Mural Visual Collaboration.
