Role: SAP EVent Management Consultant Client: HD Supply Location: 100% Remote Job Opportunity Visa: Expect H1b all other visa works. Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Event Management Consultant for a 6-month remote contract with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Supply Chain Event Management (SCEM) and a blend of technical and functional expertise. Key Responsibilities: Implementations: Lead and participate in multiple SAP Supply Chain Event Management implementations (SCEM 5.0, 5.1, 7.0, 7.01, 9.0). At least 13 implementations are expected, with at least one implementation managed as a project manager. Functional and Technical Expertise: Utilize a deep understanding of supply chain processes, order-to-cash (OTC), and order-to-lifecycle management to effectively manage and optimize SAP EM solutions. ABAP Development: While not a core development role, the consultant must be capable of reading and understanding ABAP developments to effectively communicate requirements and improvements. Project Work Streams: Pain Points Addressing: Engage in hands-on work to address existing pain points within the Event Management system, working through a backlog of improvements. Future Transition: Explore and evaluate new products to potentially replace the current Event Management system, ensuring a smooth transition and integration. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years in SAP Event Management with a proven track record of successful implementations. Supply Chain Knowledge: Strong background in supply chain processes, particularly in order-to-cash and order-to-lifecycle management. Technical Skills: Ability to understand ABAP developments and provide functional requirements to the technical team. Project Management: Experience managing at least one full SAP EM implementation as a project manager. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with both technical and functional teams, providing direction and support as needed.
