Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day Support the Director Business Systems Analyst and Product Owner setting ambitious and clear product vision, and communicating the story effectively to key stakeholders and the rest of the team Beginning to identify opportunities to provide input to the team & coach others with occasional guidance Works on solving extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables Collaborate with product owners in understanding needs and defining feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design and other team members to understand the system end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impact Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables and may impact future concepts, products or technologies Works on extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of often complex variables related to technology and/or data. Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Own the end-to-end product strategy from inception and determine business value once solution enters production Ensure alignment of product features and stories, i.e., review, give feedback, and prioritize user stories in line with product vision Understands the vision and owns aspects of the product management/roadmap activities The Skills & Expertise You Bring Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering; Analytics or experience in related fields Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD) Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills Applied experience and/or expertise with several of the following: Project/Product Management: Planning, Progress Monitoring and Status Reporting, including visualization of works; Scaling Agile Organizing, synchronizing multiple teams setup Estimations, ROI, project life cycle Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Ability to facilitate dialogue at the right level of detail for all members of the Agile team. Ability to work seamlessly with business partners and software developers alike in a liaison role. Financial Acumen: Knowledge of understanding of financial concepts, tools and processes and how financial metrics are used to monitor and drive outcomes. Includes understanding of company accounts/metrics (ex: balance sheet, profit/loss, cash flow, budget & forecast). Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. What are the top 3-5 skills that would really make someone shine in this role Identity & Access Management Experience (e.g., former experience with OKTA, PING, not necessarily ForgeRock). ForgeRock experience is IDEAL, but its a new platform, so dedicated FR people are rare; however if they are interested in that space Cybersecurity / Security not coding, but an good understanding on CIAM topics: Federation, SAML Strong Project Management skills; follow-up; attention of tiny details that can make or break the build Strong Documentation & Confluence Hands-On, Delivery Focused; Can-Do Attitude. Focused. Upbeat. Willingness to press through multiple challenges for one deliverable. Does the hiring manager prefer candidates with IAM experience, or is any BSA background ok IAM is 1st preference BSA (e.g., Project Management; Stakeholder Management; Splunk, if possible) must have strong follow up and be a people person; vocal and able to reach out and move the needle; we are in a busy space, so must be able to handle multiple client inquires, respond timely, update Jira easily. Jira / Scrum Any specific prior experiences or qualifications the hiring manager's particularly keen on seeing Attention to detail Ability to identify and gather stakeholders and drive to solution or at least a tangible update.
