This position will oversee the technical roadmap of the GMS application and work with other team members to ensure the solution is aligned with Salesforce best practices, adopting a low-code approach, where appropriate, and leverage 3rd party solutions appropriately. A thorough understanding of design principles, principles of software architecture, and the Salesforce platform is a must. Key Responsibilities Solution Design: Develop specific solutions, including scope documents, risk profiles, and financial models for large-scale technical projects. Industry Knowledge: Maintain detailed knowledge of industry and internal services, leveraging this to construct leading-edge service solutions. Process, Technology, and Staffing: Design detailed solutions encompassing process, technology, and staffing plans for customer sales opportunities. Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and develop remediation plans for complex service proposals. Financial Modeling: Participate in constructing detailed financial models that support complex service proposals. Documentation: Using automation tools, compose Statements of Work and other deliverables to specify processes, technology, staffing, and project management. Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted expert advisor and Subject Matter Expert for technical services to both internal and external customers. Compliance: Follow all organizational Standard Operating Procedures related to cost modeling, approvals, reviews, and associated workflows and deliverables. Project Specifics This position will be part of the IT Administrative Applications team, focusing on implementing a Grants Management System (GMS) using Salesforce. The role involves overseeing the technical roadmap of the GMS application, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices, adopting a low-code approach where appropriate, and leveraging third-party solutions. Candidate Skills and Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Enterprise and Software Engineering: 8 years of experience using recognized approaches such as SEI or TOGAF, creating required architecture views, documenting non-functional requirements, implementation oversight, and participating in design reviews. Salesforce Expertise: 8 years of experience as an Enterprise or Software Architect for systems implemented in Salesforce. Integration Experience: 8 years of experience integrating data, applications, services, and technologies into Salesforce solutions, including MuleSoft and non-Salesforce applications (integration of REST APIs), data migration, and dataset initiation. Low-Code Solutions: 8 years of experience delivering low-code Salesforce solutions that minimize customized code while meeting functional and non-functional requirements. Problem Solving: 8 years of experience in troubleshooting and solving complex problems related to system software and hardware incidents, recommending technology solutions. Salesforce Management: 8 years of experience managing and supporting Salesforce Orgs and environments, implementing and improving security policies and practices. Technical Integration: 8 years of experience integrating non-Salesforce applications and services, including REST APIs, Visualforce, LWC, Aura, Apex, HTML5, and JavaScript, along with data migration and dataset initiation. Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce Development: 8 years of experience in Salesforce implementation and development, writing Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Apex triggers, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components. No-Code Solutions: 8 years of experience implementing solutions using configurations (no-code) such as Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules. Agile Methodologies: 2 years of experience with Agile software development methodologies.
